For the last fortnight, we’ve had scaffolding on the back of our house while workmen made repairs to the roof. They were due to finish today, so, at their request, I went up the scaffolding to take some photos of their handiwork for their Facebook page. I, of course, maintained appropriate social distancing at all times.

It was strange looking down on our garden from an entirely new angle, and particularly strange looking down on the large sycamore near the compost heap. The huge tree looked strangely small.
