The yellow season is upon us. Some late daffodils still flowering in the lane. Bumblebees foraging in fresh dandelions. And a lovely clump of lesser celandines beneath the trees on Lane Ends Lane.

The buttercups will be out soon, turning most of the local meadows bright yellow.
