Still no swallows. I get very jittery for them at this time of year. I usually see my first one around now. The earliest I’ve ever seen a swallow at our place was on my birthday (2nd April), but that was only once, many years ago.

Although I haven’t seen any swallows yet, I’ve heard dozens and dozens of them. But they all turned out to be goldfinches impersonating swallows. Why would they do that, the bastards?
