Hi, Patrick. No, the above is not a complete set of my tags; it’s a complete set of my ‘note types’, which I identify with the relevant note-type tags.

I don’t use many other tags. There are some that identify #projects, and there are some where I’ve included a note to myself about where the note could be improved/developed/etc. (similar to your #to/finish, etc. tags—although I use the hashtag #a for action required). I also have a few #strategy notes for when I’m thinking about strategic stuff. And I have notes for #contacts.

I’ve made a concerted effort to reduce the total number of tags in my vault. Some of the things I used to have tags for, I now have ‘placeholder notes’ or ‘index notes’ for. For example, I used to mark unanswered questions in my notes with the tag #question. Now, to make them look nicer, I record them in a callout like this: > [!Question] xxxxx, and I’ve created an index note called ‘Unanswered questions’ with an embedded query that lists every note containing a question callout (query: "[!Question").
