Another evening walk around the lanes. Curlews burbling in the fields. A lone lapwing wooting overhead. Cowslips by the well at the side of the Carr track. A lone daisy by the gutter. Butterflies all along the bridleway. It’s well sheltered, and an evening sun-trap.
